Man robbed at gunpoint in South Shore Plaza lot

Braintree police are investigating a report of an armed robbery at the South Shore Plaza after a man alleged was robbed at gunpoint.

According to police, a 32-year-old man from Quincy arranged on Craig’s List to meet a man at the South Shore Plaza parking lot to purchase an iPhone from him.

The victim told officers he had done business with the suspect in the past.

The victim was sitting in the car with the suspect when a second man approached the car, and the first suspect pulled a handgun.

According to police, the two men robbed the Quincy man of two phones and a sum of money. The men walked fled in a dark colored sedan.

Police are continuing to investigate the case.
