Three Braintree men accused of robbing Weymouth teen

Three Braintree men have been arrested after allegedly robbing a Weymouth teen at gunpoint.

According to police, at 8:05 p.m. Weymouth officers responded to the report of an armed robbery on Idlewell Blvd in Weymouth.

The victim, a 19-year-old Weymouth man, told police he was walking down the street when a small black sedan pulled up.

The victim told police three men got out of the car and robbed him at gunpoint, and that the suspects took a small amount of cash.

According to police, the victim recognized one of the suspects. Detectives located the suspect’s vehicle a short time later at 21 Connelly Drive in Braintree.

Though no gun or cash was recovered, a small amount of marijuana was found in the suspect’s vehicle.

Devon T. White, 21, Mark D. Hanson, 21, and Rafael Gomes, 21, all from Braintree were arrested and charged with armed robbery, conspiracy to violate the drug laws, and assault with a dangerous weapon.
