Driver flees scene of accident

A Braintree man was arrested on Sunday night after allegedly crashing into a parked car and then fleeing the scene of the accident.

According to police, officers received multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting the accident, which occurred on Beech Street in Hingham. Police located the suspect’s pickup truck at the intersection of Adams and Elm Streets.

Police said the suspect’s car had damage to the driver’s side.

Police asked the suspect to step out of the car and said the suspect appeared to be intoxicated.

Paul Feeney, 20, of Braintree was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, and operating to endanger.
