Whether because of the 40th anniversary of its opening, or because of the recent death of younger brother Teddy, the house museum at 83 Beals St. where President John F. Kennedy was born has been particularly popular in recent months.

As a result, the National Park Service is extending the usual season to Nov. 1. Visitors are welcome Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For details, call 617-566-7937 or go here.
