Rudick to announce candidacy for state Senate
Charles Rudnick, a Newton resident, will officially announce his candidacy for a seat in the State Senate Saturday morning.
Rudnick, a Democrat, will announce his candidacy at 10 a.m. at his Newton campaign headquarters located at 797 Washington Street, Suite #3.
Rudnick is running to represent Newton, Brookline and Wellesley. The seat is currently occupied by Senator Cynthia Stone Creem.
Director of Communications at Boston Scientific, Rudnick is looking to bring an outside view to Beacon Hill.
Sen. Creem said she is running for reelection. She will be hosting a campaign event, “Coffee with Creem,” at Taste in Newtonville on Saturday at 10 a.m.
