The MBTA will suspend D Line train service between Fenway and Reservoir stations this weekend for bridge work near the Beaconsfield T stop in Brookline.

An MBTA shuttle bus will run between Fenway and Reservoir stations, but T riders will be diverted from the Beaconsfield stop to the Dean Road stop along the C Line while the bridge work is underway this weekend.

D Line train service will be suspended early Saturday morning, and will resume early Monday morning, according to the MBTA.

The MBTA will be installing new pre-cast concrete bridge beams for a new bridge along Dean Road over the train tracks at the Beaconsfield stop. The old Dean Road Bridge that was built in 1892 was torn down in May because it was deteriorating.

A temporary pedestrian bridge at the site will also be closed while the work is underway this weekend.
