The first open-captioned commercial film in the United States will be screened at 7 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Coolidge Corner Theatre to mark Deaf Awareness Week. The theater, in partnership with Temple Emeth, is showing ‘‘See What I’m Saying,’’ an award-winning documentary about four uniquely talented deaf entertainers. Director Hilari Scarl will introduce the movie and answer questions after the screening. Tickets are $10 and are available online at www.coolidge.org or at the theater, 290 Harvard St.
