Community foundation seeks youths for giving initiative
Time is short for Brookline students grades 8-12 to apply to be part of a new Youth Philanthropy Initiative.
Launched this year by the Brookline Community Foundation, the initiative will give accepted applicants an opportunity to recommend up to $10,000 in grants to the Brookline community. The foundation is seeking a diverse group of student leaders to join experienced foundation professionals in addressing the town’s most urgent needs.
The foundation hopes this experience will engage the youth in their community and get them excited about giving.
Deadline for applications is March 17. Applications and details are available by emailing Tommy Good at tgood@brooklinecommunity.org or Brittany Dayton bdayton@brooklinecommunity.org or calling 617-566-4442.
