Brookline Bank is providing a $4 million line of credit to the Brookline Teen Center, taking the project one big step closer to reality. According to Paul Epstein, who has been working with teens for more than five years to plan the facility, the financing means that construction should be able to start next year. The center’s organizers, including dozens of teens, are working to raise millions in private funds to convert a garage at 40 Aspinwall Ave. into a supervised facility and to sustain its activities well into the future.
