As many as 100  people are expected to turn out when Burlington Cable Access Television  holds its annual meeting and volunteer appreciation night on April 26.  That’s about the number of residents who contribute their time to produce and host shows and assist with production, according to Jennifer Dodge,  BCAT’s executive director. Special awards in categories ranging from excellence in producing to enthusiastic newcomer will be awarded, along with a scholarship to a student volunteer.  The event also includes food donated by local restaurants, and a ‘‘red carpet hour,’’ with BCAT board member Arlene DiRocco  interviewing participants as they arrive. The free event takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the BCAT studio at the high school. — John Laidler, Globe Correspondent
