Police said Tuesday they have arrested a Saugus man with eight bottles of liquid steroids and other assorted prescription drugs in Cambridge.

Stephen Rauseo, 47, has been charged with six counts of possession to distribute a Class B drug, four counts of possession of a class B drug and thirteen counts of possession of a class E drug.

Cambridge Police said they arrested Rauseo Monday on Mooney Street after a search of his vehicle located 23 different drugs, including the steroids and about 600 pills. Police also seized more than $1,000 in cash, packaging materials and five hypodermic needles.

The arrest was made following a three-month investigation by Cambridge Police and the U.S. Postal Services’ Office of the Inspector General.

Anyone with information about this or other drug-related crime is asked to call the Cambridge Police Department 24-Hour Anonymous Drug Tip Hotline at 617-349-3359.
