Cambridge Police Officer Oswaldo Ortiz and staff from the Cambridge Youth Centers and Boys & Girls Clubs of Middlesex County took several Cambridge kids to a Celtics game at the Boston Garden last month.

The group had its photograph taken with Celtics legend Cedric Maxwell on Dec. 3 and the Celtics beat the Chicago Bulls 104-92, according to the Cambridge Police Department.

The kids attended the game courtesy of the Dunkin’ Donuts KidZone program, which has a special seating section to host children from charitable organizations at every Celtics home game. Dunkin’ Donuts provided the kids with complimentary seats, T-shirts and the opportunity to sit courtside during the pre-game shoot around.

Ortiz plans to take another group of Cambridge teens to a Boston Bruins game in March.
