Two of the three men found dead in a triple-homicide in Waltham Monday were from Cambridge.

Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone and Waltham Police Chief Thomas LaCroix said Wednesday that the three victims have been identified as Eric Weissman, 31, of Cambridge; Rapheal Teken, 37, of Cambridge, and Brandon Mess, 25, of Waltham.

Mess lived in the apartment at 12 Harding Ave. in Waltham where the bodies of the three men were discovered at 2:25 p.m. Monday.

Authorities believe the three men knew the assailant or assailants and the attacks were not random.

The investigation into the homicides is ongoing and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will be conducting autopsies on the men, according to the district attorney’s office.
