Cambridge offering free urban bicycling workshops
Cambridge is teaming with the nonprofit MassBike to offer a series of how-to workshops about bicycling in an urban environment.
The city will offer four cycling workshops that will be free to Cambridge residents beginning next Monday, May 14, with a workshop at 6:30 p.m. at the Tobin School at 197 Vassal Lane.
The hour-long classes will give tips to anyone wishing to bicycle for doing their errands, commuting or traveling with kids. Participants aren’t required to have a bicycle or any experience and will be eligible for a free bike helmet.

Tuesday, May 29, at 6:30 p.m. in the Millers River Apartments at 669 Cambridge St. East Cambridge.
Tuesday, June 12, at 6:30 p.m. in the Andrew Peabody School at 70 Rindge Ave., North Cambridge.
Thursday, June 28, at 6:30 p.m. in the Central Square Library at 45 Pearl St. Cambridgeport.
