Harvard professor and CNN senior political analyst David Gergen will be at Lesley University next month to discuss the 2012 presidential election.

David_Gergen.jpgGergen, who served as an adviser for four U.S. presidents, will be speaking at Lesley’s Brattle Campus at 10 Phillips Place in Cambridge on Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 5:30 p.m.

Gergen is a professor of public service and the director of the Center for Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School. He joined the speech writing team for President Richard Nixon in 1971, and has served as an adviser for President Gerald Ford’s administration and for George H.W. Bush’s 1980 presidential campaign.
He was director of communications for President Ronald Reagan and an adviser to President Bill Clinton.
