Buses will replace train service on a portion of the Red Line in Cambridge on the weekend of Feb. 23 to 24, according to MBTA officials.

On those days, buses will replace service between Harvard Square Station and Alewife Station, the T’s website said. The shuttles, which are accessible for people with disabilities, will stop at both of those stations as well as the two stations between them, Porter Square and Davis.

Track, power, and signal work is planned to be done as part of the “Red Line Floating Slab Project,” T officials said.

For more information, contact the MBTA customer communications department at (617)222-3200, TTY: 617-222-5146.
