The following was submitted by Peter Marsh:

Gina Marsh began writing and recording original music when she was just 11 years old. Now a sophomore at Clark High School in Danvers, Gina will be performing her second-sold out concert at the 550-capacity Middle East club in Cambridge on February 17th, where she will open for TV’s X-Factor finalist, David Correy.

Gina is best known for her original songs, As I Am, Just Forget It, and Fly Away. In addition to writing the music and lyrics, Gina also sings and plays guitar on these recordings. She is currently in the studio working on her first EP, and she plans to perform her latest original songs, as well as popular covers, at the Middle East show.

“The Middle East is recognized as one of the best live music venues in the Boston area,” said Gina. “I am happy to be invited back and thrilled to be performing with such an amazing talent like David Correy.” The all-ages concert is organized by the Keynote Company and will also feature New England artists Kristina Corbett, Justin Dearborn, B-Capp, Kik-It, Lynda-Rose, Karina and Bassline.

Gina’s music videos can be found on her YouTube channel YouTube.com/GinaMarshMusic or at ginamarshmusic.com. Her songs are also available for sale on iTunes and Gina donates all proceeds from As I Am to Samaritans of Boston in support of suicide prevention.

The Middle East club is located 480 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge. Doors open at 7pm for the February 17 show. A small number of tickets remain for sale at $15 each, so please contact dlmarsh@comcast.net for more information.
