Cambridge Police are inviting local high school students to spend part of their spring break next month doing community service projects.

For the second year, police are holding a Community Service Week that aims to give students opportunities to make a difference in their community by donating time to the city during their April vacation week.

More than 35 teens participated in the program last year, and this year the teens will again be performing community service projects alongside police officers throughout Cambridge.

The program will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Tuesday, April 16, through Thursday, April 18.

For more information about or to sign up, contact the Cambridge Police Department Personnel Office at 617-349-3374 or email Personnel@CambridgePolice.org.
