Cambridge residents can now check on the status of their voter registration online, as well as where they vote.

The Cambridge Election Commission announced Wednesday that it has launched a new online voter registration search at https://www.cambridgema.gov/election/voterregistrationsearch.aspx.

Cambridge residents who are registered to vote can go online to check the address where they are registered, as well as if they are listed as active or inactive, where their polling place is and their listed political party affiliation.

Residents not registered to vote in Cambridge can also link to a voter registration form that can be printed and mailed to the Election Commission.

Cambridge residents living in the 5th Congressional district have until 8 p.m. on Sept. 25 to register to vote in the Special Primary Election to replace Ed Markey, which will be held on Oct. 15. All Cambridge voters have until 8 p.m. on Oct. 16 to register to vote in the Municipal Election, which will be held on Nov. 5.
