A Somerville man with Alzheimer's disease who went missing Sunday night was found in good health in Boston Monday afternoon, Somerville police said.

Ralph Hergert, 66, left his home on St. James Avenue in Somerville to take a walk at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday, but didn't return. Police first put out an alert about 10 p.m. Sunday night, seeking the public's help in locating him. They received a report on Monday morning that he may have been spotted in Kendall Square in Cambridge.

Hergert was found in Boston around 6 p.m. Monday and taken to a hospital for evaluation, according to Somerville Deputy Police Chief Paul Upton. The location and circumstances were not immediately available.
