MBTA cancels plan for buses to replace trains on part of Red Line this weekend

The MBTA has cancelled plans to have buses replace train service between Park Street Station and Kendall Station on the Red Line this weekend.

The diversion has been rescheduled for Saturday, Sept. 14 and Sunday, Sept. 15, officials announced.

The shuttles, which are accessible for people with disabilities, will stop at those two station as well as the one between then, Charles/MGH Station, the T’s website said.

Work is planned to be done on the Longfellow Bridge Project, T officials said.
