Plugged In was featured on CNN

The Second Annual Battle of the Corporate Bands, a concert and fundraiser held by Plugged In, will take place on Monday Nov. 11.

Bands sponsored by businesses in the Greater Boston area, including Oracle, Harmonix, Stephanies on Newbury and Music Go Round will will be vying for votes from a panel of celebrity judges. The judges include trumpet player Kelly Bolduc of Hot Like Fire, Woody Geissman of Right Turn and former WBCN DJ Ken Shelton, according to a press release.

Plugged In Teen Band Program, a Needham-based non-profit, works to show young musicians how positive social change can be implemented through music, and provides students with access to music instruction, workshops and community performances that focus on social responsibility.

The Battle of the Bands will be held at Oberon (2 Arrow St.) in Cambridge from 7 to 11 p.m.. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door.
