The following information was taken from the Canton police logs.
Monday, Jan. 14
Arrest: At 1:56 p.m., police received a report of a family disturbance at Windsor Woods Way. Police arrested Asia-Elise Ramos-Engermann, 20, of Canton, and charged that person with disorderly conduct.
Arrest: At 6:55 p.m., police received a report of a disturbance on Washington Street. Police arrested Sean O’Brien, 39, of Canton on warrants from Stoughton District Court and Hingham District Court.
Tuesday, Jan. 15
Arrest: At 7:25 a.m., police arrested John Philip Murphy, 51, of Canton and charged him with leaving the scene of property damage. Murphy was seen striking another vehicle by a neighbor.
Arrest: At 10:07 p.m., police arrested a 14-year-old juvenile on Washington Street and charged that person with assault and battery and assault and battery on a child with injury.
Summons: At 11:26 p.m., police submitted summons to Vanessa Gibson, 27, of Canton with a charge of possession of a Class A drug and Valerie L. Gibson, 22, of Canton with a charge of being present where heroin is kept.
Wednesday, Jan. 16
Arrest: At 12:20 a.m., police arrested Edwin A. McDaid, 56, of Canton and charged him with disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. McDaid was arrested at the 711 Convenience Store on Washington Street. McDaid was reported as intoxicated.
Accidents: Police responded to 13 accidents between the hours of 6:18 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. on various streets in town as a result of icy conditions. No life-threatening injuries were reported as a result of the accidents.
Breaking and entering: At 2:41 p.m., police received a report of breaking and entering at a garage at the Canton Corner Cemetery on Washington Street. The door was pried open and $2,500 worth of tools was taken.
Thursday, Jan. 17
Theft: At 1:31 p.m., police received a report of a stolen license plate from Jeffrey Road. The person was not sure when or where her plates were stolen.
Theft: At 7:22 p.m., police received a report of a diamond ring stolen from a Windsor Woods Way residence. An engagement ring was missing from the resident’s night drawer stand.
Friday, Jan. 18
Summons: At 9:25 a.m., police responded to a report of a hit and run accident at 138 Gas and Service at the intersection of Washington Street and Royall Street. The right rear fender of a vehicle was damaged. Ivelisse Rodriguez, 31, of Canton was issued a summons on a charge of leaving the scene of property damage.
Breaking and entering: At 9:35 a.m., police received a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle on Pleasant Street.
Fraud: At 10:15 a.m., police received a report of identity theft.
Arrest: At 5:37 p.m., police arrested Hilman De Jesus Veliz Ramos, 22, of Central Falls, R.I., and charged that person with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Veliz Ramos was involved in a minor accident on Turnpike Street and was found to be without a license.
Sunday, Jan. 20
Arrest: At 2:58 p.m., police arrested Vanessa Gibson, 27, of Canton and charged her with possession of a Class A drug.
