The following information was taken from the Canton police log. Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
Monday, March 18
Fraud: At 1 p.m., police received a report of Craigslist fraud from a Mechanic Street resident. The resident sent a computer valued at $470 to a buyer, but the person did not send payment.
Arrest: At 10:08 p.m., police arrested Connor Dorsey Sullivan, 22, of Canton on a warrant. Sullivan turned himself in at the Canton Police Station on Washington Street on the warrant out of Stoughton for possession of heroin and carrying a firearm on school property.
Tuesday, March 19
Fraud: At 10:47 a.m., police received a report of fraud from Rocky’s Hardware on Washington Street. A customer was trying to return items that were found to be stolen from a Home Depot in Walpole.
Road rage: At 10:04 p.m., police charged Francis P. Marnell, 47, of Brockton with assault and malicious destruction of property greater than $250. Police classified the incident as a road rage incident, in which Marnell allegedly punched the windshield of another person’s car on Randolph Street.
Thursday, March 21
Arrest: At 11:50 a.m., police stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Turnpike Street and Industrial Drive. Police arrested Justin A. Johnson, 32, of Roslindale and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration and a lights violation.
Arrest: At 11:14 p.m., police arrested Joseph Abdallah, 45, of Braintree and charged him with assault and battery. The arrest was made on Turnpike Street.
Friday, March 22
Fraud: At 12:39 p.m., police received a report of someone trying to cash a forged check valued at $1,245 from Cox Engineering on Industrial Drive.
Saturday, March 23
Arrest: At 3:33 a.m., police arrested Christopher A. Clarke, 24, of Dedham and charged him with operating under the influence of liquor and malicious destruction of property greater than $250. The arrest was made on High Street. Clarke allegedly tried to enter Norwood Memorial Park and went through some shrubs, damaging them in the process.
Sunday, March 24
Arrest: At 9:34 a.m., police arrested Jason Edouard LaPlanche, 33, of Canton and charged him with speeding and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. The arrest was made on Washington Street.
Malicious damage: At 3:49 p.m., police received a report of malicious damage to a pickup truck on Draper Street. A rear window was broken.
