Mark Wilson, a wildlife photographer, author, and naturalist, will present slides of some of his best photos taken over a 30-year career.

Wilson, a former Boston Globe staff photographer whose work still appears in the Globe, has selected 10 images to discuss in depth.

The presentation will take place at the Museum of American Bird Art at Mass Audubon in Canton on Sunday, April 7, at 2:30 p.m.

Topics of discussion include photo techniques, equipment, ethics, and natural history, as well as staying comfortable and healthy in harsh environments.

The program also includes a visit from several live owls, a favorite subject of Wilson’s.

To register for the event, visit massaudubon.org/maba or call the museum at 781-821-8853.

The cost is $12 for members and $15 for non-members of Mass Audubon.
