Canton police log: April 22 to 29

The following information was taken from the Canton police log. Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Monday, April 22
Theft: At 8:24 a.m., police received a report of theft on Windsor Woods Way. Copper fittings valued at $800 were stolen.

Tuesday, April 23
Summons: At 7:46 a.m., police responded to an accident at the Kennedy School on Dedham Street. Police issued a summons to Kathleen M. Guilfoyle, 47, of Canton on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and failure to yield at an intersection.

Summons: At 8:41 a.m., police issued a summons to Andrea Mariani, 41, of Holbrook with charges of eight counts of utter false document. The summons was issued at the Massachusetts Hospital School on Randolph Street. Mariani was allegedly falsely claiming she had jury duty on several days and getting paid while doing so.

Summons: At 8:56 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Pleasant Street. Police issued a summons to Helena M. McKenzie, 47, of Stoughton on charges of driving an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and driving an unregistered motor vehicle.

Summons: At 2:33 p.m., police issued a summons to Nicholas Mendes, 32, of Brockton on charges of domestic assault and battery and threat to commit a crime. The summons was issued on Brayton Circle.

Wednesday, April 24
Fraud: At 11:04 a.m., police received a report of identity fraud from Pleasant Street. A resident found that her name was being fraudulently used to open accounts.

Break-in: At 6:49 p.m., police received a report of breaking and entering of a motor vehicle on Green Lodge Street. Two DVD players valued at $250 were taken and a rear passenger side window was smashed.

Thursday, April 25
Fraud: At 1:35 p.m., police received a report of identity fraud from Turtle Brook Road.

Theft: At 2:59 p.m., police received a report of theft from Sovereign Bank on Washington Street. Someone allegedly passed a bad check through the bank.

Friday, April 26
Theft: At 8:19 a.m., police received a report of a theft from Kensington Drive. Items were removed from a vehicle overnight.

Summons: At 7:59 p.m., police stopped a vehicle on Washington Street. Police issued a summons to Amanda G. Kelso, 22, of Canton on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Saturday, April 27
Arrest: At 12:38 a.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious person at The Gap on Washington Street. Police arrested Mark Anthony Boddie, 23, of Randolph and charged him with domestic assault and battery and disorderly conduct.

Malicious damage: At 6:52 a.m., police received a report of slashed tires on a vehicle on Randolph Street.

Malicious damage: At 11:24 a.m., police received a report of flat tires on a vehicle on Washington Street.

Malicious damage: At 11:55 a.m., police received a report of malicious damage on Wentworth Road. Four pickets were broken off the top of a fence.

Sunday, April 28
Theft: At 8:53 a.m., police received a report of theft from Canton Cooperative Bank on Washington Street. Someone passed a fraudulent check valued at $8,900.

Monday, April 29
Summons: At 8:29 a.m., police responded to a four-vehicle accident at the intersection of Turnpike Street and Washington Street. Police issued a summons to Patricia Francescon, 74, of Canton with charges of leaving the scene of property damage and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

Theft: At 1:04 p.m., police received a report of theft from the Water Department on Pine Street. Diesel fuel was found missing from a Canton Water Department vehicle.
