Canton police log: July 8 to 14

The following information was taken from the Canton police log. Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Monday, July 8
Summons: At 2:23 a.m., police stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Neponset and Norfolk streets. Police issued a summons to Noami Cornute, 25, of Stoughton on charges of driving an uninsured motor vehicle and driving an unregistered motor vehicle.

Summons: At 6:13 a.m., police stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Washington and Chapman streets. Police issued a summons to George S. Fotopoulos, 61, of Sharon and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Malicious damage: At 8:37 a.m., police received a report of malicious damage at Stop and Shop on Dan Road.

Tuesday, July 9
Summons: At 3:49 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Randolph Street. Police issued a summons to Shane Mathew McManus, 18, of Canton on charges of speeding in violation special regulation, a marked lanes violation, license not in possession, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Malicious damage: At 10:11 p.m., police received a report of malicious damage at the intersection of Dedham Street and Shawmut Road.

Wednesday, July 10
Summons: At 1:14 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Sherman Street. Police issued a summons to William A. Battle, 22, of Canton on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a lights violation.

Summons: At 1:34 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle collision at the Canton Senior Men’s Club on Washington Street. Police issued a summons to Jake Meade, 17, of Easton on charges of leaving the scene of property damage.

Saturday, July 13
Summons: At 6:15 a.m., police stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Chapman and Legion streets. Police issued a summons to Jose Sepulvida, 36, of Norwood on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, forgery of a Registry of Motor Vehicles document, and no inspection sticker.

Summons: At 8:46 a.m., police received a report of a theft from The Gap on Washington Street. Police issued a summons to Valerie Germain, 36, of Abington on charges of larceny under $250 and credit card fraud under $250.

Malicious damage: At 4:19 p.m., police received a report of malicious damage on Dan Road.

Arrest: At 10:57 p.m., police arrested Dennis J. Richardson, 41, of Randolph and charged him with operating under the influence of liquor, marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and operating under the influence with child endangerment.

Sunday, July 14
Arrest: At 2:33 a.m., police responded to a disturbance on Ponkapoag Way. Police arrested Stephen J. Cahillane, 19, of Canton and charged him with assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest.

Summons: At 6:57 a.m., police stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Washington Street and Wildewood Drive. Police issued a summons to Yvette Marie Louidor, 43, of Canton on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and driving, and uninsured motor vehicle.
