A hair salon in Charlestown is offering trims for charity Saturday to help support the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings and their families.

The Hair Cuttery on Austin Street will charge $10 for all haircuts during a three-hour “cut-a-thon” Saturday with all proceeds donated to Boston's One Fund.

The One Fund, the central charity for victims of the bombings, raised $7.5 million within 24 hours of Monday’s tragedy.

“This has been such a sad event for the city of Boston,” Dennis Ratner, Hair Cuttery founder and CEO, said in a statement. “In times like these we feel it’s important to come together as a community and do something positive.”

The salon’s “cut-a-thon” benefiting the fund will run from 5 to 8 p.m. on April 28.

Hair Cuttery salons across New England will also collect donations for the fund from April 26 through April 28 and will match up to $3,000.
