The Boston Redevelopment Authority and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council will host a public meeting to discuss development near Sullivan Square once the new roadway design is in place.
The meeting, scheduled for Thursday May 16, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Schrafft’s Center Cafeteria, will focus on the Sullivan Square Disposition Study that provides urban development guidelines for the use, design, streetscape and open space for new parcels created by the roadway realignment.
The disposition study will build on the Rutherford Avenue redesign project to enhance the area by developing a plan for the publicly owned parcels that is consistent with the community’s goals.
The study will include community-based planning and visioning to determine appropriate uses, and the character of new development and open space in Sullivan Square.
The May 16 meeting is the first in a series of monthly public meetings to discuss the appropriate uses, and the character of new development and open space in Sullivan Square.
