The assessors have begun their home inspections, so do not be alarmed if someone with proper ID rings your doorbell and asks to see your home’s interior. It is done every nine years. Collectors will not enter a building where a minor is alone, and they will not take interior photos. If a property owner is not home, an exterior inspection will be conducted and a follow up letter will be sent asking the owner to contact the Assessor’s office to schedule an interior inspection if needed.

At the Beede Center, the Otters swim meet vs Groton and Revere take place Saturday, July 16. All pools close at 4:30 p.m. Cheer on the Otters!

The Council on Aging has a movie on Saturday at 1 p.m. Those who expressed interest in seeing “Oklahoma” at the Reagle Theater in Waltham have their tickets. There are several still available and there is always the possibility of a cancellation. Each ticket is $32 (check made payable to Friends of the COA). Also, please be prepared to pay a $3.00 van fee (in cash) on the day of this trip. Leave HWCC at l p.m. with 2 curtain time. Home between 4:30 and 5 p.m. Call NOW if interested. 978 318 3020.
