Concord Currents: Lots in store for art lovers
Here are a few things happening in Concord this weekend and beyond.
At the Albright Art Gallery and Supply, 34 Main St., take in the current exhibit: Yuko Adachi Celebration of NOW. The colorful whimsical “psychedelic mixed-media surrealist” art, one reviewer called it, will surprise you.
The Emerson Umbrella Gallery is exhibiting “Drawing from Life,” an exhibition of drawings by the Umbrella Collaborative Artists Figure Drawing Collaborative. It runs from Aug. 11 to Sept. 6 at the Stow Street building.
And more for art lovers: the Concord Library gallery is showing, “A Group Art Show with Mixed Media” until Sept. 2 in the upstairs gallery. For the summer, the main library is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays and closed on Sundays.
