On Wednesday at the Council on Aging, Town Manager Chris Whelan will answer questions about “behind the scenes” workings of the town. Call 978-318-3020 to reserve a seat, but you are welcome if you do not sign up.

Meetings this week include the Natural Resources Committee on Wednesday at 7 p.m.; the Trustees of Town Donations on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.; and a Finance Committee guideline subcommittee meeting on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. The full calendar is available here.

The selectmen are seeking seven residents, particularly those in West Concord, to serve on the West Concord Advisory Committee. If you are interested in development in West Concord, call 978 318 3290 or fill out a green card at the Town House.

In high school sports, the girls and boys soccer teams play at Boston Latin on Tuesday at 4 p.m. On Wednesday at 3:45 p.m. the girls field hockey team plays Weston at home, and on Thursday, the boys team takes on Acton-Boxborough at 4 p.m. at A-B. Go Patriots!
