Andrea O’Brien, Concord-Carlisle’s junior All-American soccer player who netted 37 goals and added 10 assists for the Patriots this season, has committed to play for Boston College in 2013.

O’Brien, also an All-Scholastic, won back-to-back Dual County League MVP awards and has 78 goals and 26 assists in her three-year career. Her brother Mike is a standout on the boys' team.

Boston College advanced to the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Tournament last fall before losing to No. 1 Stanford, 2-0. The Eagles finished 12-6-3.
