The Planning Board at its Feb. 14 meeting will hold a public hearing on a proposal for a new Volkswagen dealership at 72 Andover St. (Route 114 East). Cathleen Kavanagh, trustee of 72-74 Andover Street Realty Trust, which owns the property, has applied for approval of a site plan for the project.

The plan calls for demolishing an existing Fiat dealership and constructing in its place a single new approximately 32,177 square foot dealership building on the 4.7-acre site, according to town planner Kate Day. The new single story building would include a small mezzanine, and provide space for a showroom, a service department, a parts storage area, an accessory car wash, and a dealership office area. She said the new dealership would be operated by the Kelly Automotive Group.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Toomey Hearing Room at town hall.
