Danvers planning board to discuss expansion of Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home

The Planning Board at its meeting March 27 will open a public hearing into a proposal by Petersen-O’Donnell Funeral Home for an expansion project at its property at 167 Maple St. The funeral home is seeking site plan approval for the project, which calls for constructing an addition to its existing building and demolishing an existing garage, along with an expansion of its parking lot with related utility and landscaping improvements.

Also at the meeting, the board will continue a public hearing on an application by Folly Hill Danvers, LLC to modify a previous subdivision plan for its Hilltop Estates-Folly Hill subdivision on Hilltop Road and Ardmore Drive. The change calls for eliminating planned retaining walls, with related modifications to the plans regarding grading and topography.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the senior center, 25 Stone St.
