The white bike that has adorned the Pickering Street trail entrance to the Danvers Rail Trail was reported missing on Thursday afternoon, according to Danvers Senior Planner Kate Day.

"Any information leading to its recovery should be reported to me, or to the Danvers Police," Day said in an e-mail. "This whimsical bike has been decorated for Christmas, and was most recently wearing shamrocks for Saint Patrick’s Day. 

"Please help us find it so it can resume its cheery greeting for users of the Danvers Rail Trail."
