A power outage in Danvers has had traffic lights down for about a half hour on Endicott Street, Conant Street and up to the area around St. John's Prep, according to the Danvers Electric Department.

Details are scarce as officials work to correct the problem, but the traffic lights were completely blank all the way down Endicott Street, and one official with the Electric Department says that the problem is much bigger than just Endicott Street.

It is unclear whether any homes in the area have been affected.

An employee at the Holiday Inn on Endicott Street reports that the hotel lost power for about 20 minutes. The lights at St. John's Prep flickered when the traffic lights went down, but never lost power.

Officials have not yet determined what caused the outage.
