A new home health care provider has opened its doors in the town of Danvers. BAYADA, a provider of nursing, rehabilitative, therapeutic, hospice and assistive care services to adults and seniors, celebrated the opening of its new office last week.

The Danvers location will provide services to various North Shore communities, including Danvers, Peabody, Salem, Beverly, Marblehead, Lynn, Swampscott, and more. The office will help residents above the age of 18 with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, as well as transportation to doctor’s appointments, grocery shopping and hair appointments.

The Danvers location currently has three office employees and hopes to hire about 100 home health aides in 2013. It is also a member of the Home Care Alliance, a non-profit trade association of home care agencies that promotes home care as an integral part of the health care delivery system.
