The following was submitted by the Peabody Institute Library:

Meet Boston Celtics legend JoJo White and local author Mark Bodanza as they discuss Mr. Bodanza's book Make It Count: The Life and Times of Basketball Great JoJo White.

The event will take plan on Thursday, February 6 at 7:00pm in the Peabody Institute Library, located at 15 Sylvan Street, Danvers.

In Make it Count, the author examines not only White's playing days from the
neighborhood courts of St. Louis to the NBA, but also how his good upbringing and solid character helped influence his success on the court.

White maintains his humble dedication, even through some of America's most tumultuous times which directly impact him as a young African American athlete coming of age during the racial tensions of the 60's in the Vietnam War.
