Dedham will kick off a three-week celebration of local veterans this Sunday with an annual Veteran’s Day service at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke’s Church, 950 East St.

Here’s a look at other events scheduled for November:

Re-dedication: The Combined Veterans Council will hold a re-dedication of Veterans’ Memorial Field at Stone Park, 140 Whiting Ave., next to Dedham High School. The re-dedication ceremony is scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, at 9 a.m. During the ceremony, the field will be re-dedicated to past, present, and future veterans from the town of Dedham.

Remember a Vet: On Nov. 12, the Dedham Veterans Office will hold an “everyday” items drive for patients at the Veteran’s Hospital in West Roxbury. The office is looking for items such as soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, shaving cream, deodorants, denture cups and cleaners, warm socks, nail clippers, and dietetic candy. Travel-sized items are preferred. Donations can be dropped off at the Veteran’s Office, 26 Bryant St., until Nov. 12. For more information call 781-751-9265.
