Here’s a quick look at events and happenings going on this week in Dedham.

Meetings: The Planning Board will hold a hearing at the Hilton Hotel, 25 Allied Drive, on Jan. 17 at 7:30 p.m. The Board of Selectmen will meet Jan. 19 at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 26 Bryant St. Also on Thursday, the Conservation Commission will meet at 7 p.m. in the lower conference room at Town Hall.

Schools: Students were off Monday in honor of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Classes resume Tuesday. The School Committee will meet Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.

Kindergarten: Parents Kindergarten Orientation Night is Jan. 17 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Early Childhood Education Center, 322 Sprague St.

Food Pantry: The Dedham Food Pantry will hold its general meeting Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Endicott Estate, 656 East St.
