What's happening in Dedham this week
Here’s a look at some events happening in Dedham this week.
Meetings: The Planning Board will meet Monday at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, 26 Bryant St. The Board of Selectmen will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.
Trivia: T.G.I. Fridays, 750 Providence Highway, will hold Stump! Trivia Tuesday at 9 p.m.
Meet and greet: Author Maria Termini will read from her book, “Driving Curiosity: On the Road to Central America,” on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Admission is free and refreshments will be served. Register by calling 781-751-9287.
Rotary Club meeting: The Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club will meet Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn, 55 Ariadne Road.
Stories and snacks: Whole Foods Market in Legacy Place will hold a healthy snacks and storytime event Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.
Open gym hours: The Dedham Community House, 671 High St., will hold open gym hours for middle school students Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Open gym for high school students will be the same night at 8:15 p.m.
Dance camp registration: Dance Explosion Studio of Performing Arts, 95 Eastern Ave., will begin registration for its summer camp and summer classes Saturday at 9 a.m.
Softball tryouts: The Dedham girls summer softball tryouts are scheduled for Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Dedham Parks and Recreation Department, 269 Common St. Additional tryouts will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Dedham Middle School, 70 Whiting Ave.
Spring Fair: Riverdale Elementary School will hold a Spring Fair Saturday at 10 a.m. at the school, 143 Needham St. Admission costs $20, and money raised will help fund school activities.
