Here’s a quick look at events and closures taking place this week in Dedham.

Job Announcement: The Dedham Public Library is still accepting applications for library page positions.These are part-time positions that pay $9 an hour. Applicants must be at least 16-years-old, and applications are available at the two libraries and on the library website, http://library.dedham-ma.gov.

Dedham Square Project: The front section of the Keystone Parking Lot will be closed Thursday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the installation of curbs and concrete islands. Any car still in the lot at 6 a.m. will be towed.

Open Gym: The Dedham Community House, 671 High St., will hold an open gym session for middle school students Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. High Schoolers can attend at 8:30 p.m. that night.

Free Concert: The band, “Quintessential Brass” will perform Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Endicott Estate, 656 East St.

Kumon of Dedham: Kumon Math and Reading is offering free registration and placement testing until July 15 for all interested Dedham students. To arrange a visit or test call 781-329-6677 or email dedham_ma@ikumon.com.

Beginner Karate: The Dedham Community House will a “Boot Camp: Karate for Beginners” class starting Friday at 5:30 p.m. The cost is $102 and the class meets Fridays until Aug. 10. Any resident at least 7-years-old is invited to attend.

Antique Auto Show: The Endicott Estate will host an "Antique Auto Show and Family Fun Day" event Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 for anyone older than 12. The day will include more than 1,000 vehicles on display, food, music, tours of the estate, and children’s activities. For more information visit www.bsaac.com.
