Dedham police investigating Sunday robbery at Family Dollar Store

Dedham police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at the Family Dollar Store on Bussey Street Sunday evening.

According to police, around 9:50 p.m. Sunday, a masked man entered the store near closing time and demanded money. Police said the man indicated that he had a weapon, but store employees reported not ever seeing a weapon.

The man fled from the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Detectives are investigating the incident and would not release any additional information about the incident or the suspect. No arrest has been made at this time.
