Dedham police seek information about Blue Hills Bank robbery
Dedham police are seeking information from the public about an armed robbery that took place Thursday at 4:40 p.m. at the Blue Hills Bank on Providence Highway.
Police said in a news release this morning that a man entered the bank Thursday evening and brandished a knife. He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and fled the area in a car.
Spokesman Bobby Nedder said no additional details about the incident or the suspect are being released at this time.
However, anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to call the department’s detective bureau at 781-751-9300.
Police also said Friday that an arrest warrant has been issued for suspects wanted in two robberies last month - the first at Citizens Bank on Oct. 2 and the second at Dedham Savings on Oct. 10.
