Dedham Square Circle’s, annual Dedham Square Holiday Stroll event is scheduled for Nov. 30 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The free event will feature street performers, Victorian carolers, costumed characters, the Animal Rescue League of Boston’s mobile pet adoption unit, a visit from St. Nick, and a ceremonial lighting of the town’s Christmas tree.

Community organizations will have tables set up throughout the square and most Dedham Square merchants will stay open until 9 p.m. with discounts, raffles, and treats, a news release said.

During the stroll, a section of High Street from Washington to Harris Street will be closed to traffic starting at 5 p.m.

Access to the town parking lot on Eastern Avenue will remain open and parking is also available at Town hall on Bryant Street and at the corner of High and East streets.
