The Dedham Police Department is looking for opinions from the community on what improvements could be made to Dedham’s policing.

The department has issued a survey featuring questions about customer service, crime-related perceptions, community concerns, and desired police services.

Responses to the survey will be anonymous and all residents, business owners, and visitors to town are invited to participate, according to police.

“It is important for the police department to communicate with members of the community and to be aware of concerns that members of the community have,” said Dedham Police Chief Michael d’Entremont in a statement issued Tuesday.

The survey is available online at www.dedhampolice.org. Paper versions of the survey can also be printed out at that site and returned to the Dedham Police Department, 600 High Street, Dedham, MA 02026.

The survey will be active through March 17.
