Dedham selectmen suspended the Tahiti Restaurant’s alcohol license for six days following a hearing Thursday.

On Dec. 15, a waiter at the restaurant served a 20-year-old seven drinks until he had a blood alcohol content of .36. A hospital was called for alcohol poisoning, according to a police report.

The restaurant will institute a two-drink maximum and will card anyone who appears to be 25 or under, according to its attorney, Peter Zahka, at Thursday’s hearing.

The alcohol license will be suspended from Saturday, April 13, until Tuesday, April 16. Two days of the six-day suspension will be held in abeyance for two years on good behavior.
