The following information was taken from the Dedham police log. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
Tuesday, April 2
Fraud: At 9:14 a.m., police received a report of a lost or stolen debit card used for more than $2,000 of fraudulent purchases from Providence Highway.
Arrest: At 6:59 p.m., police stopped a vehicle on Bussey Street. Police arrested Jonathan Carlos Jaimes, 21, of Roslindale and charged him with failure to stop, operating a vehicle with a suspended license, license not in possession, and possession of a Class D substance.
Malicious damage: At 11:54 p.m., police received a report of a car that was dented on Veterans Road.
Wednesday, April 3
Fraud: At 1:20 p.m., police received a report of fraudulent use of a credit card at a Legacy Place business. Other fraudulent purchases were made the same day in Natick and Chestnut Hill.
Malicious damage: At 1:51 p.m., police received a report that a customer at a Providence Highway business went into the menís room and broke a pipe. Water was spraying onto the floor when employees arrived in the room.
Theft: At 4:54 p.m., police received a report of stolen rings from a Great Meadow Road resident.
Fraud: At 5:52 p.m., police received a report of credit card fraud from a Bridge Street resident.
Thursday, April 4
Theft: At 6:33 p.m., police received a report of theft of a gym bag and car keys from a Providence Highway business.
Friday, April 5
Malicious damage: At 7:30 a.m., police received a report of a window smashed on a vehicle on Allied Drive.
Malicious damage: At 12:43 p.m., police received a report of vehicle skid marks across a lawn on Fox Meadow Lane at the intersection with Greenlodge Street.
Arrest: At 1:08 p.m., police arrested Richard A. Manning, 26, of Attleboro and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license. The arrest took place on High Street.
Saturday, April 6
Arrest: At 9:17 a.m., police arrested Rizaldy Tayag, 23, of Lowell on several warrants for four counts of breaking and entering a building at night, four counts of larceny over $250, two counts of malicious damage of property, and one count each of drug violation in a school zone, possession of a Class D drug, possession of burglarious tools, and receiving stolen property. Tayag was arrested on Bussey Street.
Accident: At 11:30 a.m., police responded to an accident on Washington Street in which a vehicle struck a utility pole. The operator tried to apply the brakes but suddenly accelerated instead, swerving to avoid a car and striking the pole instead. One passenger was transported to Norwood Hospital.
Housebreak: At 2:13 p.m., police received a report of a housebreak on Marion Street. The resident returned home and discovered the front door open and damaged.
Arrest: At 5:56 p.m., police stopped a vehicle on Providence Highway. Police asked a passenger for his license because he was not wearing a seat belt and police discovered he had an outstanding warrant out of West Roxbury District Court. Police arrested the man, Forrest E. McBrayer, 45, of Boston, on that warrant.
Sunday, April 7
Arrest: At 12:59 a.m., police responded to a report of a loud party on Curve Street. Police arrested William D. Gillenwater, 22, of West Roxbury and charged him with malicious damage to a motor vehicle.
Theft: At 1:10 p.m., police received a report of a stolen iPhone 5 on Whiting Avenue.
Fire: At 2:12 p.m., police shut down River Street due to a large outside fire. The Dedham Fire Department extinguished the fire.
Theft: At 2:36 p.m., police received a report of a stolen RCN cable junction box that had been mounted on the side of a Winthrop Street residentís home.
Assault: At 11:54 p.m., police responded to a report of an assault at Showcase Cinema at Legacy Place. A verbal fight during a movie led to a man getting tripped outside the theater. Two men punched the man who was tripped, and that manís sister tried to help fight off the two men. The sister was thrown against a trash barrel; the brother received a bump on his head and a facial contusion. Footage of the assault was found on the theater security cameras.
Tuesday, April 9
Accident: At 2:40 a.m., police responded to a single-vehicle accident at Legacy Place. The vehicle struck a pole, a trash barrel, and a tree. One person was taken to Norwood Hospital.
Arrest: At 8:06 p.m., police arrested Gemson Pierre, 25, of Dedham and charged him with leaving the scene of property damage and larceny over $250. Police arrested Pierre on Bridge Street.
