Dedham police log: May 13 to 19

The following information was taken from the Dedham police log. Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Monday, May 13
Theft: At 4:30 p.m., police received a report of shoplifters at a Legacy Place business. A man and woman took four pairs of jeans valued at $200 each.

Arrest: At 8:17 p.m., police arrested Alex Gomez, 40, of Boston and charged him with assault with a dangerous weapon and domestic assault. The arrest was made on Bussey Street.

Tuesday, May 14
Fraud: At 10:08 a.m., police received a report of credit card fraud. There was a fraudulent charge on the victim’s card and management at the Providence Highway business where the card was used said the number, expiration date, and security code were manually punched in during the purchase.

Arrest: At 1:33 p.m., police received a report of a shoplifter at Legacy Place. Police arrested Patrick Michael Sullivan, 41, of Dedham and charged him with shoplifting more than $100 by concealing merchandise.

Arrest: At 6:09 p.m., police stopped a vehicle on Providence Highway. Police arrested George A. Siaflianis, 19, of Walpole and charged him with possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute.

Wednesday, May 15
Arrest: At 5:08 p.m., police received a report of a suspicious person on Sawmill Lane. Police arrested Delbert Watts, 44, of Jamaica Plain on a warrant for disorderly conduct.

Thursday, May 16
Malicious damage: At 5:03 p.m., police received a report of a broken window at the Greenlodge School gym. The window was shattered, but no object used to break it was found.

Fraud: At 8:37 p.m., police received a report of credit card fraud from a Deerpath Road resident. The resident received an email reporting fraudulent credit card activity.

Friday, May 17
Theft: At 5:32 p.m., police received a report of a theft of a computer from Providence Highway.

Saturday, May 18
Theft: At 10:27 a.m., police received a report of a theft from a vehicle on Cunningham Road. A GPS, cash, and two Powerball tickets were taken from the vehicle, which was left unlocked.

Arrest: At 11:19 a.m., police arrested Robert Perea Jr., 25, of Dedham and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license. The arrest was made on Sprague Street.

Malicious damage: At 11:26 a.m., police received a report of malicious damage to an office door on High Street. A threatening message was written on the door in black pen.

Malicious damage: At 11:48 a.m., police received a report of malicious damage to a vehicle on Veterans Road. The windshield was damaged and there were scratches on the car.

Malicious damage: At 12:07 p.m., police received a report of malicious damage to a vehicle on East Street. A rock was thrown through the rear windshield of the vehicle.

Malicious damage: At 12:58 p.m., police received a report of malicious damage to a vehicle on the second story of the Legacy Place garage. A door handle was damaged, possibly as part of an attempted break-in.

Theft: At 4:47 p.m., police received a report of a theft from a vehicle on Cunningham Road. A GPS and change were taken and the vehicle was unlocked.

Vehicle entered: At 4:57 p.m., police received a report of two vehicles entered the previous night. Nothing was taken, but a bottle of pills was spilled in the driveway.

Theft: At 9:02 p.m., police received a report of a stolen bicycle on Colwell Drive. The bike was yellow and black and was valued at $300 and a blue bicycle was found in front of the house.

Arrest: At 9:56 p.m., police arrested Richard M. Alonzo, 19, of Dorchester and charged him with larceny under $250, improper use of a credit card under $250, and larceny of a credit card. The arrest was made on Providence Highway.

Sunday, May 19
Arrest: At 1:28 a.m., police arrested Jarrod R. McCormick, 40, of Dedham and charged him with domestic assault and battery. McCormick was arrested on Bridge Street.

Malicious damage: At 5:59 p.m., police received a report of a house egged on High Street.
